The FIFA World Cup is coming to North Texas, and we want it to feel like what soccer is supposed to feel like: joyful, loud, welcoming, full of food, music, neighbors, visitors, families, workers, and fans from everywhere. But that kind of celebration is only possible if everyone can show up without fear. That’s why we’re asking organizations, churches, labor unions, businesses, community groups, and neighbors across North Texas to sign on to our No ICE in the Cup letter.

The letter calls on the Dallas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee, Arlington City Council, and relevant host city officials to make a public commitment: no immigration enforcement targeting workers, vendors, attendees, volunteers, residents, or surrounding communities in connection with World Cup events. By signing on, you’re helping send a clear message that North Texas wants a World Cup rooted in solidarity, human dignity, and real community safety.
